Objective of course of lectures: Learning about the approach to crisis management through the concept of critical infrastructure, analysis of critical infrastructure risk assessment and critical infrastructure protection plans. |

Content of course of lectures: Definition of concept of critical infrastructure according to international standards, concept and definition of criticality, content and characteristics of individual elements of critical infrastructure, prioritisation of critical infrastructure, analysis of elements of individual critical infrastructure, types of hazards and risks to critical infrastructure, concept and definition of interdependence of critical infrastructure, content and methodology of risk assessment and plans of protection of critical infrastructure, approach in the protection of critical infrastructure and experience of some EU and NATO member states, and some international institutions, international and regional co-operation in the filed of planning and protection of critical infrastructure, as well as training and practice. |

General and specific competences (knowledge and skills): Having passed the exam, students will have knowledge on the importance of critical infrastructure in crisis management and will be able to make a risk assessment and critical infrastructure protection plans. |
