Objective of course of lectures: To practice the knowledge obtained with client in an optometric office, under mentor’s surveillance. |

Content of course of lectures: 1. Exercises in objective refraction: sciascopy, ophtalmometrics. 2. Subjective sphere correction 3. Subjective correction of astigmatism 4. Exercises in circular cylindrical method 5. Exercises in cylindrical haze method 6. Exercises of monocular spherical equalisation 7. Exercises of binocular refraction 8. Exercises of measurement and correction of heterophory 9. Measurements of accommodation and eyesight correction at close 10. Exercises of eyesight control with children, strabism and other motoric anomalies, eyesight exercises with children. 11. Contact lenses: refraction with test frame 12. Determining contact lenses parameters by use of ophtalmometer 13. Selecting contact lenses and fitting 14. Control of position of contact lenses and refraction check through contact lenses. 15. Lenses fitting exercises for presbiopes, with aphakia, ceratoconus. 16. Astigmatism correction with contact lenses |
