Class goal: Obtaining knowledge in the area of leading, managing, organizing and coordinating processes in the area of military logistics. |

Class content: – Elementary concepts, role and purpose of military logistics, – History of military logistics: review of key events in military and war history, with special emphasis on identifying importance of logistics process in war, – Type of military logistics; areas of armament and military equipment, technical supplies and maintenance, intendant-related, health, veterinarian, traffic, construction, financial, combat and fire-fighting protection, as well as leading and managing – Elementary principles of military logistics, – Military logistics at national level: elementary concepts and areas of national logistics from military, technical, industrial, economic and social aspect, – Logistics in NATO: NATO logistics principles and policies, – Planning joint and special military logistics strategies, – Planning military equipment and armament, – Standards and standard operative procedures (SOP), – Planning logistics in military and peace operations, – Characteristics of logistics system on sample countries and involvement in NATO logistics systems, – Personnel planning for military logistics. |
