Objective of the class: Objective is to learn methods and techniques of electronic commerce.

Content of class: Introduction to electronic commerce. Types of e-commerce. Advantages and disadvantages of e-commerce. Preconditions for introduction of e-commerce. Business models and their evaluation. Business processes. Problems E-commerce safety. Electronic payment systems. Digital signature. E-marketing. E-marketing and management of relations with clients. Support to decision making. E-markets. Electronic auctions. Commerce on the move. Mobile market. Electronic data exchange. E-government. Client privacy and protection of privacy. Privacy on the internet. Intellectual property. Electronic economy and information society.

General and specific competencies (knowledge and skills): Knowledge on methods and techniques used in electronic commerce. Introduction to specific tools used in some types of e-commerce.
