Course Objective: Acquiring the procedures of checking the function flow, definitions of differential equation, vector calculus, matrix, deriving and integrating the functions of several arguments.

Course Contents: FUNCTION FLOW TESTING. Increase, decrease and extremes. Deflections and points of a curve. Border conduct. Drawing a qualitative graph. ADVANCED RULES OF INTEGRATION. Substitution. Partial integration. DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS. Definition and significance. Differential equation of exponential growth. Differential equation of harmonic oscillator. Method of separating variables. VECTORS. The definition of vector. Vector adding. Scalar multiplying. Scalar product. Vector product. MATRICES. System of linear equations and a matrix. Linear transformations and matrices. Matrix calculus. FUNCTIONS OF SEVERAL ARGUMENTS. Partial derivations. Gradient. Double integral.

General and Specific Competencies (Knowledge and Skills): Function analysis. Solving complex integrals. Comprehension of differential equations and their solving by separation of variables. Competence for expressing and solving problems by vector and matrix calculi. Solving the system of linear equations. Handling basic terms of functions with several arguments.
