Objective of course of lectures: Acquiring of knowledge in entrepreneurship and management in optical trade |

Content of course of lectures: Definition of management. Basic functions in management (planning, organising, personnel management, leading, controlling, control techniques). Small businesses and entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship and entrepreneur (definition, entrepreneurs’ characteristics, entrepreneurial stimulus, sources of entrepreneurship, internal entrepreneurship, innovativeness and entrepreneurship). Entrepreneurial alternatives. Small businesses. Business factors (financial, material and human). Marketing, selling (role of salesman, structure and phases of conversation in selling, presentation skills, communication in sales, solving customer’s complaints, prices and complaints, problem handling while working with customers, psychology and customers’ behaviour, key accounts…) Business results (types of expenses, calculation, business result). Indicators of business success (profitability, solvency). Entrepreneurial project (definition, purpose, writing and presenting). Formal project structure. |
