Content of course of lectures:

1. History of contact lenses. Division of contact lenses. 2. Materials used in contact lenses and requirements. 3. Technology of contact lenses production. Standards. 4. Examination of contact lenses parameters. Measuring raduis, dioptric strength, diameter, thickness. 5. Adaptation of contact lenses. 6. Adjustment equipment. Rooms, instruments, hygienic requirements. 7. Adjustment procedure. Short revision of eye anatomy and physiology. Adjustment requirements. Adjustment rules. The relation between cornea and contact lense curvature. Eye examination by means of biomicroscope.  8.
