Objective of course of lectures: Acquisition of knowledge on communication process, types of communication and successful communication. Improving communication skills.

Content of course of lectures: 1) Nature of communication process; 2) Basic principles of communication; 3) Prejudices about communication; 4) Types of communication; 5) Verbal and non-verbal communication; 6) Origins of difficulties in communication; 7) Characteristics of interlocutors making communication difficult; 8) Communication skills; 9) Co-operation; 10) Active listening 11) Complete and incomplete messages; 12) Responsibility in communication; 13) Non-violent conflict solving;
14) Negotiation and mediation; 15) Individual and group differences in communication.

General and specific competences (knowledge and skills): Knowledge on communication process. Successful application of communication skills.
