Course Objective: Revision of English grammar with an aim of its successful use in understanding written and spoken language, upgrading technical terminology, smooth and precise exchange of information within contexts related to various aspects of computing, use of technical handbooks and dictionaries.

Course Contents: Computing terminology, everyday uses of computers, types and parts of a computer, keyboard and mouse, input devices, output devices, storage devices, graphical user interfaces, networks, communications.

General and Specific Competencies (Knowledge and Skills): Communicative competence. Knowledge of technical terminology. Skills of smooth and precise exchange of information within contexts related to various aspects of computer systems.
